This notice describes UnifAI Technology Limited’s approach to cookies and similar website technologies, including browser storage, pixels and scripts. It should be read with the Privacy Notice. The term “cookie” is used for convenience but the controls also cover other technologies that store or access information on a device.
2. Necessary and optional technologies
Necessary technologies may support functions such as security, delivery of requested pages and remembering a privacy choice. Their use must be limited to the purpose that justifies treating them as necessary.
Our operating policy is to require consent before activating optional analytics, advertising or embedded third-party services that store or access information on a visitor’s device. This is a conservative company choice, not a claim that every possible statistical technology always requires consent under the law.
A technology must not be labelled necessary merely because it is convenient for marketing or measurement. Where an exception to consent is relied on, its conditions, transparency and any required simple means of objection must be implemented and recorded.
3. Making and changing a choice
Where optional technologies are offered, visitors must be able to accept or reject them and choose between purposes without preselected optional consent. Refusing optional technologies must not prevent access to ordinary corporate information. A change or withdrawal must be as easy as giving consent.
The production website must provide an accessible privacy-preferences control when optional technologies are used. Choices must be applied before the relevant scripts or storage are activated. Browser controls can also block or remove cookies, although blocking necessary functions may affect the service.
4. External images, videos and links
The website may link to videos, public applications and other external services. Following a link opens a service with its own privacy arrangements. Optional video embeds must not activate tracking before the appropriate choice.
News artwork may be served from the original content host. Serving an image sends that host connection information, such as the IP address and requested resource; this is different from asserting that every image creates a tracking cookie. Images should be hosted directly where practical, with unnecessary referrer information suppressed.
5. Inventory and retention
The live notice or associated preferences panel must identify each technology or clearly defined group, provider, purpose, whether it is necessary or optional, and its duration. Session storage ends with the relevant browser session; persistent storage remains for its specified lifetime or until removed.
6. Contact and review
Questions or concerns can be sent to info@unifaitechnology.com with “Privacy” in the subject. Review this notice when providers, tags, forms, embeds or privacy controls change and check actual behaviour, including before consent and after rejection. Keep the published description and consent configuration aligned.
