Sea Check connects live coastal information for beach users

The public web app brings together weather, sea conditions and AI-powered harmful-bacteria risk alerts for Bournemouth and Boscombe.

Sea Check brings weather, sea and water-quality information together in one public smartphone web app. Users can switch between Bournemouth and Boscombe, see the bacteria-alert status and expand the information panels for more detail.

UnifAI is working with Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council and Wessex Water to provide the service. It combines live data with AI-powered alerts for harmful-bacteria risk, giving beach users information they can use before entering the water.

The application builds on UnifAI's coastal monitoring experience, including the earlier Poole Harbour pilot.
